Ore Beneficiation Equipment

Conditioner Tanks
Conditioner tanks are used to homogenize material at the desired pulp ratio prior to wet beneficiation and separation processes. Conditioner tanks (mixing tanks) consist of a mixing volume in which liquid and solid mix together along with an agitator.
Within the tank volume, the main parameters are the solids capacity of the material, the required pulp ratio depending on capacity, and the solid–liquid contact (homogenization) time. Agitator design depends on the solid / solid+liquid pulp ratio, solid particle-size fraction, floatability and particle-density functions. Optimum flow rate and turbulence simulation for the impeller-blade design are analysed by BAS design engineers and supplied as standard for each application. BAS conditioner tanks feature an experience-proven mechanism with perfectly matched coupling and drive, an integrated inspection cover, and overflow/discharge outlets. Internal lining is optionally available.
